Will you be pregnant in the next year?

Our team are here to help you plan for your fertility and pregnancy journey.

Whether you are planning pregnancy or embarking on fertility treatment, our specialist team are here to optimise your health and provide you with upfront information to help plan your care. Our protocols are regularly reviewed by experts in the field and cover all aspects of pre-pregnancy care.

We are a GP specialist practice with all assessments bulk billed.

We believe pre-pregnancy care should be available to everyone. If you need additional care, we can work with you to find the best options around Australia.

Maternal Health

A detailed medical history and medication review is a critical part of planning for pregnancy. We can arrange additional testing or referrals that can optimise your health if you have medical conditions such as thyroid dysfunction, diabetes and hypertension.

Immunisation and Infection Screening

Prior to pregnancy is the best time to assess your current immunity to conditions such as rubella, varicella and plan annual immunisations such as influenza. Routine infection screening is also performed for conditions that might pass from mother to child or to or from a reproductive partner and can be managed differently during your fertility and pregnancy treatment.

Weight and Nutrition

Prior to pregnancy is the best window of opportunity to optimise weight using diet, exercise, medicine and surgery. We can provide advice about diet and vitamin supplements including folic acid and we partner with leading specialists in bariatric medicine to provide Telehealth assessment for anyone interested in weight optimisation.

Genetic Screening

We assess family history and organise genetic screening tests to identify couples with a high chance of having a child with a genetic condition or difficulties with infertility and recurrent miscarriage. Our network of experienced genetics experts is available for anyone needing additional help on their fertility and pregnancy journey.

Fertility

If you are experiencing difficulty falling pregnant or planning fertility treatment with your partner, we can arrange baseline investigations and referral to a fertility service that will assist you with your needs. Our network includes fertility and ultrasound specialists with expertise in evaluating complex cases.

Mental Health and Wellbeing

We are committed to providing a mental health care plan and organising psychologist and psychiatric support for anyone who can benefit from additional help. Having support in place before pregnancy will put you in the best position to have a healthy pregnancy and bonding experience with your child.

We are passionate about being proactive and believe that providing a thorough evaluation upfront is the best way to identify and manage your fertility and pregnancy journey.

Our clinic is run by specialist general practitioners with an interest in women’s health and pregnancy and fertility care. Our service extends across Australia and can be accessed by anyone, whether they are undertaking IVF or planning for natural conception.

We look for small changes that make a big difference.
